What is the best auto to pull behind a motorhome?

The motorhome is a Class A.

Answer

Get yourself a tow dolly. That way you can tow any front-wheel drive car without ruining the transmission, or having to mount an unsightly tow bar on your car. It also makes it a snap to change cars if you want. Other than that, just keep the weight of the car/dolly within the towing capacity of the RV.
A Saturn can be towed in neutral without damage to the automatic transmission. It is the only car that I know of with an automatic that can be towed in such a fashion.

If you watch on the road, you will see a lot of Saturns being towed behind motor homes for this reason

    What octane of gasoline should I use in a motorhome with a Chevy 350 engine in it?

    I just bought a motorhome with a Chevy 350 in it. The Chassis is an ‘89 Chevrolet 1-ton van. I have never owned a 350 and have no idea what octane I should put in it.

    normal octane (87ish) should do it.
    if you can buy the better stuff reasonably you’ll get a little better mileage and it will help to keep the engine cleaner internally too.
    also, if the thing seems a bit sluggish on hills or under load the super or midgrade should help with that.

    What size motorhome do my wife and I need for a three month trip?

    My wife and I are going to live in New Zealand for three months a year so we can be near our grandchildren. We’ve been thinking of buying a motorhome there so we could be near them a bit, travel around a bit and have a place of our own to stay in between.       I just purchased a motorhome and when we plug it in to electricity the converter charger makes a buzzing sound. As soon as we unplug the motorhome it stops buzzing. What is it doing?

      You probably have auxiliary batteries in the motor home that allow you to have lights, etc. when the engine is off and you aren’t plugged in. The buzzing is the sound of the battery charger, adding electricity to the batteries for you to use at a later time.
