Where can I buy the parts to fix the leaf spring in my 95 bronco?
I just bought a 1995 Ford Bronco 5.8 L, and I bought it for cheaper than I shouldve, only because it needs a repair to the right rear leaf spring. It broke free from the strap on the shackle due to rust, and punctured through the metal in the trunk area. I am going to have to fix this soon, and I am wondering if anyone can recommend me to how to fix it? I have heard of the add a leaf system, but what else can i do, how much work is involved, and whats my best option?

Should I Fix my Bronco 2 or Buy a Jeep?
My father owns a 1988 Bronco 2 that I can have, but it needs a new clutch, brakes, AC, heat, and a tune up. I would have to on top of that get a lift kit, tires, and other parts to make it how i want it. I could probably get a Jeep with a lift for around 5000$. I don’t know if i should buy a jeep or fix the Bronco, what should i do?
Answer
- The bill for doing all that work on the Bronco could top $5000.
But any Jeep you buy for $5000 probably needs some repairs, too.
At least with the Bronco, you know what you are getting.
- If you want to do some tough off roading, its easier to get CJ parts. But no a/c in a CJ rag top other than the obvious.
If you want to have a moderate off road vehicle and still be quite useful in town and hiway-then the Bronco II.
We had all of these in or group/club. I had a CJ 7.
